It's the last month of the year again and I want to start it off with a phrase that one philosopher said some hundreds of years ago. He said "We see things not as they are but as we are."
A powerfully loaded statement that deserved to be pondered on. An open mind is one thing that is most elusive even to those who think they have it. I have no problem saying I can be one to swallow my pride. The first step to learning is openness to what ifs and what could become. How can we truly see things as they are? Well we can take it one step, one day at a time.
